Ludvig Bratt og Calum Mitchell's 'Swallowed by the Sound' udstilles i Stockholm
Læsere med en skarp hukommelse vil huske Ludvig Bratt og Calum Mitchell’s afgangsprojekt ‘Swallowed by the Sound’ fra de landskabsarkitektstuderendes afgangsudstilling 2018, der blev afholdt på Frederiksberg i oktober sidste år.
Her præsenterede Bratt og Mitchell deres projekt om Saltholm: A biography of an islands life.

“from birth to flooding/death and eventual rebirth as a new ecosystem. An architectural love story touching upon the themes of climate change, loss of cultural memory and the effect of time. With this project we wanted to push the boundaries of what a landscape project can be; it can be worked with as a piece of art, it can find inspiration in all other creative fields and importantly it is an analogy for the effect of climate change on many places around the world,” lyder det fra ophavsmændenes hjemmeside.

Afgangsprojektet kan nu opleves på ArkDes i Stockholm, som en del af Ung Svensk Form. Juryen siger om projektet: ”Världsarkitektur i ny, dagsaktuell bemärkelse. Arkitekturens metoder sätts än en gång i mänsklighetens tjänst, i ett lika precist som slagfärdigt porträtt av territoriets föränderlighet i klimathotets tid.”
