Det er fjerde år, at WLA Awards afholdes. Blandt tidligere års vindere er: Sasaki, dwg., LANDPROCESS, OJB Landscape Architecture, MKSK, Gossamer, OLIN, Stoss Landscape Urbanism, LandLAB + Monk McKenzie, SLA, PLACE, Rogers Partners, ASDISKY, Ken Smith Workshop og mange flere. Bag prisen står World Landscape Architecture, en blog kurateret af Damian Holmes siden 2007. WLA Award belønner innovativt arbejde fra professionelle og studerende i et internationalt perspektiv.
